Pursuant to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act — transposed by Legislative Decree No. 82 of 27 May 2022), Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004 (Legge Stanca) and subsequent amendments
1. Foreword
LX20 Law Firm S.T.A. S.r.l. (hereinafter "LX20") is committed to making the website lx20lawfirm.com (hereinafter "Website") accessible to people with disabilities in accordance with European and national legislation on the accessibility of digital services.
This statement applies to the Website in its entirety, including public pages, the Personal Area, and the Client Area, as well as to any interactive tools made available to users.
2. Regulatory Framework
The accessibility of the Website is pursued in accordance with the following references:
- Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.
- Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act, EAA), transposed into Italian law by Legislative Decree No. 82 of 27 May 2022, applicable from 28 June 2025 to digital products and services aimed at consumers, including e-commerce services.
- Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004 ("Legge Stanca") on the accessibility of information technology tools, as amended by Law Decree No. 76/2020, converted into Law No. 120/2020, and by Law Decree No. 152/2021.
- Legislative Decree No. 106 of 10 August 2018 implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as the technical reference standard, in line with the harmonised standard EN 301 549 v3.2.1.
- Guidelines of the Agency for Digital Italy (AgID) on the accessibility of information technology tools, in particular the "Guidelines on the accessibility of information technology tools" of 20 September 2019 and subsequent amendments.
3. Compliance Status
LX20 declares that the Website is in partial compliance with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard at the time of drafting this statement.
The areas of the Website are assessed as follows:

4. Implemented Accessibility Features
The Website implements the following features to improve accessibility:
4.1 Perceivability
- Alternative text (alt text) for non-decorative images.
- Colour contrast compliant with the minimum WCAG 2.1 AA ratio (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Ability to zoom text up to 200% without loss of functionality.
- Semantic page structure (h1–h6 headings, paragraphs, lists, ARIA landmarks).
- Labels and descriptions for form fields.
- Subtitles and transcripts for audio/video content published directly by LX20 (content embedded from third-party platforms may not have this support natively).
4.2 Operability
- Full keyboard navigation for interactive features.
- Visible focus indicator during keyboard navigation.
- Ability to skip repetitive navigation (skip links).
- Absence of flashing content or content that could cause seizures (no stimuli > 3 flashes/sec).
- Reasonably long session times, with a warning before expiration.
4.3 Understandability
- Correctly declared document language (Italian
it-ITas the main language). - Declared language for alternative sections (
lang="en"for parts in English). - Consistency in navigation and interaction patterns.
- Clear and contextual labels on controls.
- Identified and descriptive error messages.
4.4 Robustness
- Compatibility with major assistive technologies (screen readers, voice browsers) through the use of semantic HTML markup, ARIA attributes where necessary, and compliance with WAI-ARIA standards.
- HTML code validity according to W3C standards.
5. Non-accessible Content
The following areas of the Website may have accessibility limitations:
(a) Content embedded from third-party platforms (YouTube videos, LinkedIn embeds, various widgets): the accessibility of such content depends on the third-party provider and is not under the direct control of LX20. The Firm undertakes to prioritise accessible alternatives, where available, and to provide equivalent content in an accessible format (e.g., text transcripts) where technically possible.
(b) Historical PDF documents uploaded as publications or attachments: PDFs predating this accessibility statement may not be structured as PDF/UA (Universal Accessibility). LX20 undertakes to:
- publish new PDFs in PDF/UA format with a logical structure, alternative text, and language tags;
- progressively review the most important historical PDFs;
- provide, upon request of the interested party, an accessible alternative version of PDF content that is not yet compliant.
(c) Mathematical formulas or complex tables in technical articles: may present reading difficulties for screen readers. LX20 undertakes to provide alternative text descriptions where requested.
(d) Integrated third-party components (analytics services, captcha): the accessibility of these components depends on their respective providers. LX20 prioritises providers that declare WCAG compliance.
LX20 is committed to progressively removing these limitations in future iterations of the Website.
6. Compatibility with assistive technologies
The Site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen reader: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS, iOS), TalkBack (Android), Orca (Linux).
- Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (latest two stable versions).
- Operating systems: Windows 10+, macOS 12+, iOS 15+, Android 11+.
The use of older browser or operating system versions may cause accessibility issues not attributable to LX20.
7. Method of preparation of the statement
This statement has been prepared on the basis of:
- Internal self-assessment conducted by the development team during the period of April-May 2026.
- Functional tests using automated accessibility assessment tools (Lighthouse, axe DevTools, WAVE).
- Manual tests of keyboard navigation and with screen readers on a sample selection of pages.
The Firm reserves the right to subject the Site to a formal accessibility audit by a qualified third party, on a periodic basis, for the purpose of full compliance with the European Accessibility Act.
8. Feedback and exercise of rights
Users who encounter accessibility difficulties or wish to provide feedback to improve the Site's accessibility may:
(a) Send a report to the email address [info@lx20lawfirm.com](mailto:info@lx20lawfirm.com) (or, alternatively, to [info@lx20lawfirm.com](mailto:info@lx20lawfirm.com) with the subject "Accessibility — Report").
(b) Request an accessible alternative version of specific content (e.g., a video transcript, a text description of a chart, an accessible copy of a PDF) via the same email.
(c) Propose suggestions for improvement.
LX20 undertakes to respond to reports within a reasonable timeframe, normally not exceeding 30 days from receipt, and to provide accessible alternatives where technically possible and reasonably sustainable.
9. Complaint procedure
Should the user not receive a satisfactory response within the timeframe indicated in §8 or believe that the Site is not accessible in violation of the law, they may file a complaint with the competent bodies:
(a) Digital Ombudsman, established at the Agency for Digital Italy (AgID) pursuant to Art. 17 of D.Lgs. 82/2005 (CAD). Address: accessibilita.agid.gov.it.
(b) Agency for Digital Italy (AgID) in the case of a complaint specifically relating to D.Lgs. 106/2018 — available at www.agid.gov.it.
(c) For consumer rights under the EAA (D.Lgs. 82/2022): competencies are distributed among various supervisory authorities depending on the sector. The Firm provides further information upon request.
(d) Competent judicial authority for the judicial protection of rights.
